Rough day at the box. I decided to go at 5pm to O lift and today’s focus was the snatch. I need to get my flexibility up so I ended up doing more of a power snatch. I thought it went well.WOD
Front Squat 3,3,3,3,3 -then- 5 rounds: 5 Handstand Push-ups 20 Double Unders
results: 245# 1rm PR / DNF
We decided to find our 1rm on the front squat and I got to 245# then called it. My flexibility needs work and I’ll make an effort to do wall squats here and there. The met-con portion got to me. I completed one round and once I got back to the handstand push ups, I just couldn’t get up. I tried to get up, but my shoulders was just too fatigued. I don’t know what it is. So Jared had me do 5 burpees instead. Yeah, I didn’t finish and I’m upset. Things could’ve been worse. Grrr!
