Hey mang. When you first started the Paleo diet, what were some examples of your first couple of meals. I tried it for a bit and bought a bag of nuts and dried fruits. Got some Salmon and stuff but i was so hungry i ate the whole bag of nuts and fruits! So i guess what im asking is what do you eat when you crave rice and bread? just more meat or whaaaa?..

Salmon is a great start!  Most of the salmon they sell in supermarkets are farm grown.  If you can find wild salmon, then I’d stock up on that.  It may be pricey. 

I grew up in Hawaii and taking rice out of my diet was VERY hard.  When you’re on Paleo, there is room to “cheat”.  I hear this a lot, “80/20”.  If you’re doing good 80% of the time, you’re golden.  The bread craving will go away.  At least for me it did. 

Some great snack food:  Almonds, macadamia nuts, any type of raw nuts really.  I stayed away from store bought dried food.  There are some good ones out there.  Lately I’ve been snacking on Larabars and Kind bars I get from Whole Foods.  Both are gluten free.  Yeah, when you get a chance, read up on Gluten.
