On the minute complete:
5 burpees and max rep thrusters at 115#/80#.
The goal is to complete 75 thrusters. Every minute on the minute complete 5 burpees and fill the rest of the minute with max rep thrusters. When the next minute rolls around complete 5 burpees and max thrusters and so on until 75 thrusters are reached.

This workout is a scaled back version of Kalsu, which is 100 reps @135# and 5 burpees every minute on the minute. It’s a CrossFit Football workout and everyone hated Zach and Jared after this. The thrusters were a pain, but it’s all about popping it off your chest and then locking out rather than using your entire shoulders to do all the work. This workout sucked bad.

I didn’t get home til 3am last night due an unfortunate event at Red Rock. I didn’t get to sleep til 5:30am and woke up at 10am to attend the O lift class. I’d like to thank the creators of Endorush for getting me through the workout. I focused on my front squat again and it’s looking a lot better. I have to focus on not going so low to a point where I’ll lose power and round out my lumbar curve.
So I used my ipod during the mile run and I paced myself thinking I’ll have enough energy to bang through the other two exercises. What I should have done was break this workup out into sets of tens. 10 box jumps, then 10 push ups, etc.. Did I? Nope. I did straight 100 box jumps and straight 100 push ups. The box jumps I got through okay, doing 10, then taking a breather, then 10, etc. As for my strongest exercise, the push ups, I figured I’ll bang out 4 sets of 25. That didn’t happen. After doing the 1st set of 25, I was exhausted. I ended up setting them in 10s and later in 5s. My chest and arms were burning. I need to make smart decisions and strategize better. I also shouldn’t stay up all night partying. -.-
